Cowboy Cat and Wizard Rat
Pitching short form ideas and liked the idea of a bounty hunter duo combining two of my favorite genres, westerns and mythical. This chaotic duo traverses the magic desert in search of bounties and fights but often get themselves into dumb situations by their lack of skill. Didnt end up going anywhere, and it really only builds up the whole time to one punchline. idk cool world building idea though.
City Rat, Country Mouse.
Had a job I did not like, and All I wanted was to live out in nature and not be stuck working as a cog in a machine. Still really like this idea of day dreaming out of reality, I don’t know if I love the ending but I can always change that if I come back to animate this short fully, which I might at some point. Circa 2023
Rat Cat Mutt
Chaotic cartoon violence ensues, tom and jerry with blood, happy tree friends but faster paced. Ultimately just a little repetitive, I did make an animatic for a pilot of this and it was like 11 minutes long. Some gags are funny overall not sure if I love the idea as much as others.
Brownie Dog
One rough that actually got turned into an animation. Based on a true story of my childhood Dog eating pot brownies and being sick for a couple days, poor guy, he was ok in the end. :). Always love the crazy psychedelic parts of shorts like this one contrasting the reality. circa 2022ish
The 9 Lives of the Great Fellini!
He’s a magician who does 9 tricks and dies from every trick. Really liked this idea and this was going to be (time wise) my most ambitious cartoon. Would have been black and white vaudeville style, and ultimately I just couldnt finish it due to unrelated reasons, and everyone I showed it to said it became repetitive, which I agree to in hind sight. Some of the gags in here I still love and maybe will revisit it. circa 2021 ish
Boy in the Well
Whats that fella? theres a boy stuck down in the well, what would we all do without our sweet lil puppy! No clue when I made this, and I have no memory of it even existing at all, just happened to find it while I was looking for a different project file. But, I do love the little kid voice I did. probably 2020 ishh
Gotta Light?
For a school project where we partnered up with a music major from nyu and they made the soundtrack, was hyped with the direction this one was going and then I had an animation teacher tell me it was dog shit and I never did anything with it after that, tried to work with the composer again for another project but he doesn’t use that email address anymore womp womp. Anyways its a frog business man who just wants to smoke and cant because his lighter is dead. circa 2018ish
